Pick your own bouquet, in tune with nature
On the outskirts of the city lies a place where life slows down. Where you can stroll amongst the flowers and watch the seasons change. At FleurAkker, you put together your own bouquet, straight from the field. The selection changes with the seasons: fresh spring blooms, light summer flowers and warm autumn hues. Every picking session becomes a little experience, with a bouquet that perfectly suits the moment. The flower season starts in March/April and ends in late October, depending on the first frost.
We operate on a subscription basis. For a small-scale farming project like ours, this is the most sustainable way to work. It gives us the freedom to grow thoughtfully, tailored to what is truly needed — and to let you enjoy fresh flowers from the field week after week.
Our field is located on Bosstraat in Jette, nestled between the greenery of the Laerbeekbos and the Jette-Ganshoren Marshes. A stroll, some fresh air, and heading home with a bouquet of hand-picked flowers – a tribute to the season!

You go for sustainability
BelAkker is part of Groot Eiland, an organisation that provides training for people that are far from the labour market. Planting, weeding and harvesting are done with the help of employees in labour care or in work experience training. You harvest locally produced, organically grown flowers.
